Required Skills/Experience:
Trauma/neuro experience required.
Unit Details:
Equipment includes ceiling lifts, Hoyer lifts, sit-to-stand lifts, extensive safe-patient handling equipment, and Baxter Sigma Spectrum IV pumps.
The unit uses Omnicell and SBAR.
Common diagnoses/treatments include sepsis, shock, multi-organ failure, respiratory failure, trauma, neuro/brain injuries, complicated surgeries, stroke, and encephalopathy.
Shift & Scheduling:
3 weekends.
No call.
Floating Requirements:
Must be flexible to float where needed, including to CICU, MS, Tele, and ER.
