Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Credentials: Pass/fail open-book skills exam required; minimum passing score is 90%.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI or Dignity. Block scheduling is generally not approved; weekends-only block scheduling may be considered. Travel pairs requesting the same schedule or sharing a car are not accepted. RTO must be requested upfront and is limited to 7 or fewer days per 13-week contract. Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submission.

Unit Details: Adult ICU patients including trauma, cardiac, overdose/substance abuse, sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, and respiratory distress. RNs titrate drips including cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation. Respiratory support ranges from nasal cannula to ventilators. RNs are required to read, interpret, and document telemetry strips; monitors are GE with tele tech oversight.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend; weekends are Saturday and Sunday. Minimum of 2 holidays that fall within the contract time frame. Travelers are added into the schedule; self-scheduling is for core staff. If placed on call and called back in, must arrive within 30 minutes.

Floating Requirements: Typically floats to PCU; occasionally MedSurg, usually with 1:4 or 1:5 patient ratios on those units.
