Preferred Credentials:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Associates or Bachelor's Degree - Preferred.

Unit Details:
High-acuity stepdown unit.
Patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric.
Care includes surgical patients, with patient care individualized according to the procedure and type of anesthesia across the continuum of care.
Pre-operative and postoperative assessment and education are included.
PAT RN duties include supporting timely completion of patient testing and evaluating Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders for appropriateness and potential omissions based on proposed surgery, patient age, and current state of health.

Shift & Scheduling:
1 winter and 1 summer holiday.
Every 3rd weekend.
On-call is required.

Floating Requirements:
Floating is as needed.
