Preferred Skills/Experience:
ECMO experience preferred, but not required.

Preferred Credentials:
Epic electronic health record (EHR) training preferred.
Critical Care Course preferred.

Special Requests:
Scheduling preferences, including block scheduling and three shifts in a row or not three in a row, are considered based on unit needs.

Unit Details:
Patient population includes high-acuity neuro, cardiac, and postsurgical adult and geriatric patients.
Care includes critically ill patients with multisystem organ failure and multisystem trauma.
Life-support modalities include ventilator management, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and ECMO, with hemodynamic monitoring.
Unit resources include Alaris pumps, ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, pressors, IABP, EVD, ICP, TVP, CRRT, Impella, Swan-Ganz, and ECMO.
Clinical work includes chest tube insertion assistance, transvenous and temporary pacing, conscious sedation, advanced respiratory modalities, and Swan-Ganz catheter management.
A rapid response team, a resource RN, and a house supervisor are available 24/7.
Patient ratios are not guaranteed and may change based on staffing availability; the unit typically attempts to achieve them with normalized staffing.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend and every other holiday.
Flexible contract hours: 48 per week may be considered.

Floating Requirements:
Expected to float to other levels as needed.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
