Preferred Skills/Experience:
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details:
Supports a newly opened PCU, but ICU patients are anticipated.
This unit is designed as a universal suite; each room can function as a telemetry, PCU, or critical care bed based on the diagnosis and accommodation code.
Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.
Patient population includes A-fib RVR, TAVR, post-PCI, DKA, COPD/asthma exacerbations, stable ventilated patients, high FiO2 requirements, HF management, and renal failure.
Uses continuous bedside monitoring and arterial lines.
MS/Tele ratio is 6:1; critical care ratio is 2:1.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:
Will care for MS/Tele, PCU, and/or critical care patients, as well as float to these areas if low census.
During low census, travelers are expected to float to critical care (1:2-3 patients) or Med-Surg/Tele (1:5-6 patients).
