Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers accepted with L&D experience. EFM interpretation and intervention, adult and neonatal assessment skills.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Gyn-surgical/mastectomy post-op experience preferred; if not comfortable with these, other staff may be able to take those patients.
Special Requests: You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility. Requested time off will not be accepted between 8/5/26-8/20/26. Time off requests use 2 gold tickets per year and must be submitted before the next schedule is posted. Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler. Approved RTO: 10/6-10/14.
Unit Details: Patient population includes L&D, postpartum, antepartum, newborns, and infants under 28 days old. Level 2A Nursery; will care for sick babies. Patient ratios: Laboring 1:2; Couplets 1:3-4. Centralized fetal monitoring.
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend. On-call per census and LOC rotation. Holiday expectations: 3 holidays scheduled, 1 on-call, rotating schedule.
Floating Requirements: May float to Med/Surg as helping hands/in the role of a CNA; could be floated within scope of practice and below.
