Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience, including antepartum, intrapartum, cesarean section, postpartum, and magnesium sulfate administration. Hospital experience required Circulate c-sections required Fetal heart monitoring, OR, Cardiac monitoring, Warmer, Blood glucose monitoring
Preferred Skills/Experience: Recent OB, ED or critical care experience Prefer someone at least 3 years of experience who is C-EFM certified Ability to scrub/assist in deliveries preferred.
Required Credentials: Dysrhythmia Exam NOT required
Preferred Credentials: Care of the Extremely Low Birth Weight Neonate Certification - National Certification Corporation (preferred)
Unit/Facility Details: High acuity; language barriers, substance abuse, chronic conditions affecting pregnancy
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend/major holiday required Not able to accommodate specific shift or schedule requests On call up to 24 hours per 6 weeks
Floating Requirements: May be required to float within New Life Center or to other L&D units in Richmond
