Resume: Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and whether it was a teaching facility.
Special Requests: Must take a full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Previous Marshfield employees must have an end date at least 6 months before submission. Block scheduling has been allowed in the past.
Unit Details: High-risk L&D patients, including preeclampsia, HELLP, placenta previa, preterm labor, and PROM. Not an LDRP unit. Does not circulate C-sections; admits, preps, and recovers C-section patients in the LDR area. There is no newborn nursery RN, so the L&D RN recovers both mother and baby. RNs titrate insulin and oxytocin drips. OB provider in house 24/7; MFM on call; neonatologist available if needed; anesthesia in house 24/7. If a patient is on telemetry, tele staff read strips. Uses Corometric EFM and Fetalink.
Shift & Scheduling: Every 3rd weekend and every other holiday. No call.
Floating Requirements: Must float to MBU/Antepartum on the same floor as LDR. Will float as a patient sitter throughout the house. Can float to NICU if trained and comfortable doing so.
