Required Credentials:

• Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests:

• RTO must be listed at time of submission.
• No more than 1 week of RTO will be considered for a 13 week contract and no more than 2 weeks of RTO will be considered for a 26 week contract.
• Must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major Winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years).
• Preference is for travelers to be willing/able to work any holidays.
• RTO will not be considered if requested after an offer or after signing contract.
• All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
• References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
• You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details:

• Adult and geriatric patient population.
• Patient population includes dementia, Alzheimer's, TBI, plegics, cognitive impairments, physical impairments, and other LTC level of care appropriate diagnoses.
• Unit care includes accuchecks, implanted glucose sensors, Peg Tube (G-tube) feedings, Duopa Pumps, IV hydration PRN, phlebotomy lab draws, peritoneal dialysis (subcutaneous only), respiratory treatments (nebulizers), and wound care.
• Uses ECS charting.

Shift & Scheduling:

• 4x12 Variable or 3x12 Variable - traveler's choice.
• Day 7:00-19:30 or Night 19:00-07:30.
• Caregivers are not asked to rotate between night/day shifts, with occasional exceptions for urgent staffing needs. Shifts will be either Days or Nights, depending on facility needs at time of start date.
• No call.
