Required Skills/Experience:

• Postop surgical care and general med-surg care.

Unit Details:

• Common patient population includes a wide variety of medical-surgical patients, postoperative orthopedic cases, and trauma cases with fractures.
• Uses CPAP, heated high flow, and house-wide telemetry pack monitors with Phillips monitors.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend; day shift weekend is Saturday/Sunday and night shift weekend is Friday/Saturday.
• No call.

Floating Requirements:

• Travelers are first to float if needed; this happens occasionally to other Med-Surg floors.
