    Additional Details:

    An interview may not be available prior to offer. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

    Special Requests:

    • Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
    • Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
    • All time off requests need to be submitted prior to starting assignment.

    Unit Details:

    • Level 2 NICU.
    • Common patient population includes hypoglycemia, IV antibiotics, mild respiratory distress, phototherapy, pre-term babies learning to bottle feed and gain weight, and some newborns withdrawing from maternal drug use.
    • NICU RNs attend C-sections and vaginal deliveries; their role is only for the baby.
    • May be asked to care for stable postpartum mothers and babies; willingness to learn is expected and training will be provided if needed.

    Shift & Scheduling:

    • 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule.
    • Schedule is made by leadership 6 weeks at a time; travelers are expected to be flexible and help fill gaps in permanent scheduling.
    • May be asked to participate in the holiday rotation.
    • Rare low-census call/standby.

    Floating Requirements:

    • Could be floated to St. Anthony North (26 miles away) if low census or there is a need there.
