Required Credentials:
- ASN.
- Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.
Preferred Credentials:
- BSN.
Unit Details:
- Monitors intake and output for neonatal patients, assists mothers with breastfeeding initiation/baby-friendly care, administers medications using proper bar code scanning, and reports on patient assignments during multidisciplinary rounds.
Shift & Scheduling:
- No call.
- 5 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
- Every other holiday.
Floating Requirements:
- Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
