Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in Level 3 or 4 NICU.
Required Credentials:
- NRP Advanced required.
- Pass/fail medication exam required during in-person orientation; 1 attempt only. If not passed, the contract will be canceled immediately. Study materials provided.
Preferred Credentials:
- Infant Driven Feeding Training preferred.
Special Requests:
- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details:
- Neonate and infant patient population.
- Primarily complications of prematurity.
- Term care includes RDS, TTN, ABO incompatibility, and therapeutic hypothermia.
- Small population of surgical interventions.
- Pre- and post-op care includes TEF/EA, gastroschisis, omphalocele, G-tube placement, and ex-lap.
- No cardiac surgery.
- Respiratory management includes nasal cannula, high-flow nasal cannula, conventional vent (Drager) for AC and volume guarantee, JET, and HFOV.
