Required Skills/Experience:
Must be able to administer medications through a PICC line.
2+ years of experience performing neonatal assessments and caring for IVs, umbilical lines, CPAP, nasal cannulas, oral and IV medications, OG and NG feedings, and G-tubes.
Level IV NICU experience required.

Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
If previously worked with Sanford Health, must have an end date 6 months prior to submission date.

Unit Details:
Provides nursing care to neonates, including assessment, care planning, intervention, evaluation, and charting.
Procedures include intubation, spinal taps, PICC line placement, IV starts, and admissions.
Uses conventional Draeger ventilators, high-frequency jet and oscillator ventilators, nitric oxide, Cool Cap, MedFusion pumps, smart pumps, Spacelab monitors, MAK for medications, and Accudose.
Ratios are 1:1 to 1:2 for critical and intermediate infants and 3:1 for infants who are growing and feeding.

Shift & Scheduling:
Rotating day/night shifts, including every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:
Able and willing to float to PICU and PEDS.
