Required Skills/Experience:
1-2 years of experience required.

Unit Details:
Case volume ranges from 10 to 25 cases per day.
Cases include total joint procedures, with MAKO robotic knees and hips starting up, orthopedic and neuro spine, craniotomies, robotics, OB/GYN, podiatry, urology, general surgery, and plastics. The majority of cases are total hip, knee, and shoulder procedures, neuro and orthopedic spine, and robotic cases.
Weekend call may include XLIF procedures by the neurosurgeon and total hip procedures for fracture patients.
Equipment includes the da Vinci XI system.

Shift & Scheduling:
Call frequency depends on staffing; for example, 10 staff and 30 days in the month = 3 days of call.
Weekend hours are covered by a call team consisting of an RN, CSTFA, and CST.
