Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - RN must have strong scrub and circulate skills. - Experience in Ortho, Ortho Trauma, Vascular, Urology, General Surgery. Preferred Skills/Experience: - Neurosurgery (crani and spine), Open Heart/Thoracic, Ophthalmology, ENT, Bariatric and Gynecology. Special Requests: - RTO: 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive. No holiday RTO. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends. Shift & Scheduling: - Call Requirements: One 12 hour shift a month on a Saturday or Sunday, 7A-7P or 7P-7A. There is no week-day call. - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend / 2 weekends per month. Floating Requirements: - Cook is a MANDATORY FLOAT FACILITY, all resources are required to float at the facilities discretion. Cook has the ability to request that any clinician float outside of their “home” facility as long as the floating does not exceed 50 miles. Travelers may receive notification to float 2 hours before their shift. There are no home units. Your clinician could be floated to a variety of units, including outside of their primary area of competency. Do not apply if you are not willing to meet the possible floating obligation. You must be able to start on the start date specified for this job. Labs must be completed within 48 hours of accepting an offer.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Years of experience REQ: Resource must have 2 years of recent acute care experience in the OR
- Level 1 Trauma experience.
- General OR, Trauma
- Strong scrub and circulate skills.
Unit/Facility Details: Locals accepted: Yes -locals preferred.
Special Requests:
- RTO: 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive. No holiday RTO. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends.
- If your traveler calls out on a holiday, the facility can cancel their contract.

Floating Requirements:
- Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Cook is a MANDATORY FLOAT FACILITY, all resources are required to float at the facilities discretion.
- Cook has the ability to request that any clinician float outside of their “home” facility as long as the floating does not exceed 50 miles. Travelers may receive notification to float 2 hours before their shift. If your clinician refuses to float, they will be subject to cancelation. There are no home units. Your clinician could be floated to a variety of units, including outside of their primary area of competency. If they are floated outside of their primary competency, the team-based model will be used.
