Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 2 years experience, Circulate, General, Ortho, Robotics, GYN, Thoracic, ENT, Oral, Urology, Whipple, Plastics (free flap), and Liver resection, all within the last 3 years.
- DaVinci XI and DV5 University experience required within the last 3 years.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.
- Scrub experience a plus.
Required Credentials:
- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests:
- References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
- Local travelers accepted for Surgical Services positions. IN residents are considered local.
- IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities, except Periop/OR, Allied, and Ambulatory RN travelers. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, and SDS.
Unit Details:
- Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.
- Travelers are expected to work charge if asked and the duties are within their job scope.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Monday-Friday with call and/or holidays.
- On-call 40-60 hours per 6 weeks; can vary.
