Required Skills/Experience:

• Circulating experience required; scrub experience is not required.
• Prior travel experience required.

Special Requests:

• 26 weeks only; shorter contracts will not be considered.
• Excessive time off cannot be approved; time off should be limited.

Unit Details:

• Based in the OR Float Pool.
• Adult patients only; no pediatrics. Includes inpatient and outpatient OR cases in a Level 1 trauma center.
• Case types include neuro, trauma, general, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant (liver, renal, pancreas), robotic, hybrid room cases (cysto, bronch, and lead extraction), ambulatory ortho, burn, and hepatic-biliary.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Days during the week will vary depending on unit need, and the unit cannot offer a block schedule.
• Expected to work 2 of 3 holidays.
• Late stay required. Travelers will take four late stays in a 13-week contract. If rooms are still running at 5PM or 7PM, the late stay person will stay until a night shift team can take over or the rooms come down. Rarely more than an hour past the normal end time; this increases during the summer and in December.

Floating Requirements:

• Could float between ORs, but not locations.
