An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2 years Med/Surg experience and Med/Surg skill set required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• 1 year inpatient palliative care preferred.
• Palliative care/hospice experience would be helpful.

Required Credentials:

• Associate Degree or Certificate.

Unit Details:

• Travelers will care for Med/Surg patients in the Palliative Care unit.
• Primary cases include palliative, comfort/hospice, and Med/Surg.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• No call.
• Hours are not assured during orientation week.
• Weekly hours may be reduced during holidays when the unit is closed.

Floating Requirements:

• Float to any inpatient unit.
