    Shift & Scheduling:

    • Every other weekend.
    • Targeted start date - 5/4 or 5/18 - All others will be redirected.

    • Special equipment used on the unit: VADs, ECMO, CRRT.
    • IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Administration of blood & blood products, Arterial line management, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, TPN/Lipids, Renal /Genitourinary, Urinary catheter insertion/management, Oncology, Medications/Emergency Medications, Antiarrhythmics, Continuous Sedation, IV vasopressors, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Cardiovascular, Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP), Congenital Heart Disease/Repair, Heart Transplant, Hemodynamic monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Post Cardiac catheterization, Post cardiac surgery, Post pacemaker insertion, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Neurologic, Respiratory, Assist/manage intubation, Care of Ventilated Patient, Care/maintenance of acute airway, End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Management of Chest Tubes, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Tracheostomy care, Ventilator Management, Orthopedic, Infectious Disease, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Professional Topic and Skills, Infection control/PPE, Wound assessment/care, Gastrointestinal, Insulin administration, Insulin pumps, Management of gastric tubes, NG tube insertion/ management, Work Settings, Pediatric CVICU
