Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required Skills/Experience: CVICU experience required. Post-op heart experience required. First-timers accepted with 2+ years of experience. First-time travelers accepted with PICU experience. Equipment: Hamilton G5 Ventilators DirectLink ICP Monitors. Artic Sun Targeted Temperature Management. Baxer Prismaflex Machines
Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Special Requests: All time off requests must be outlined at the time of submission.
Unit Details: Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, and young adult critically ill patient population. Cares for medical, surgical, cardiac, oncologic, and trauma diagnoses, including patients requiring CRRT and ECMO. Bedside procedures including central line placement, arterial line placement, lumbar puncture, intubations/extubations, CRRT initiation/discontinuation, ECMO cannulations/decannulations, chest exploration, and other emergent operative procedures for patients unable to transport to the OR.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirement: Yes. Call required: No. Start Date: Tuesdays
Floating Requirements: Float to NICU and pediatric units.
