Required Skills/Experience:
EKG monitoring is required.
Wound care is required.
IV management is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
2 years of progressive care or intensive care experience preferred.
Unit Details:
Equipment includes IV pumps, EKG monitors, SCDs, and a bladder scanner.
The patient population is adult.
Common diagnoses/treatments include CHF, detox, stroke, NSTEMI, STEMI, neuro, COPD, diabetes, and sepsis.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
No call.
Floating Requirements:
May be required to float to Med-Surg for patient load or others related to 1:1 safety.
