Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
- 2 years acute inpatient PCU RN experience.
- Proficient in neuro care.
Required Credentials:
Nursing Diploma.
OR
Associate’s Degree (ASN).
Unit Details:
- RNs must read telemetry and titrate.
- Common patient conditions include stroke, transplant, and PD.
- Equipment includes a Dynamap and bladder scanner.
- Common medications include insulin, Cardizem, Amio, heparin, and nitro.
- Time-critical medications are common.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend per unit need.
