Required Skills/Experience: Experience with ICU/PCU level of care.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Burn experience preferred, but not a requirement. Hemodynamic monitoring preferred. Hemodynamic drip titration proficiency preferred.

Unit Details: Burn ICU/PCU mixed-acuity department caring for adult patients at ICU/PCU/Tele/Med-Surg levels; patient ratios vary by acuity. Patients remain on the unit from admit to discharge regardless of level of care. Procedures include debridement, dressing changes, line insertion, chest tube insertions and maintenance, and post-op procedural care. Uses Alaris IV pumps, Hill-Rom beds and call light system, GE cardiac monitoring equipment, AirStrip, and iMobile phones for communication with providers and staff. Dedicated burn surgeon and APP, unit-based paramedics, and 24/7 critical care intensivist support within a multidisciplinary care model.

Shift & Scheduling: 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week scheduling period.

Floating Requirements: Float to like units including ICU, PCU, and CCU; agency staff float first when needed.
