Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Experience caring for brain injury, limb loss, and spinal cord injury.
- At least 1 successful travel contract completed within previous 24 months.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Able to handle a variety of patients independently, including neuro, ortho, trauma, and oncology.
Special Requests:
- Past UPH FTE or PRN float pool employees cannot work travel in another UPH market if they currently work at any UPH facility or have worked at one within the past 12 months; prior UPH travel employment does not trigger this restriction.
Unit Details:
- Rehab/Med Surg patient population includes brain injury, spinal cord injury, oncology, limb loss, trauma/ortho, and general debilitation.
- Common drips include heparin.
- Ratios: day shift 5:1; night shift 7:1.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Holiday rotation, including working 1-2 of 3 summer holidays unless the unit is closed.
- No call.
- Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements:
- Will float across all campuses and like units: MWH, ILH, and IMMC.
