Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Med-Surg or inpatient rehab experience required.
- 1+ year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or other 24/7 skilled care environment.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience related to patient acuity preferred.
Special Requests:
- Local candidates are not accepted.
- Must fulfill the full 13-week contract.
Unit Details:
- Free-standing acute inpatient rehabilitation facility serving adults with high-acuity inpatient rehabilitation needs, including stroke, brain and spinal-cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries.
- Unit functions similarly to a medical-surgical unit; nurses are expected to help CNAs and answer call lights for patient safety.
- Uses mobility equipment including ceiling lifts, Sara Stedy, Sara Plus, slide boards, vital machines, EKG machine, BGM, and computers for charting.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend and holiday rotations.
- Call required.
Floating Requirements:
- No floating currently; may be required to float to a satellite IRF facility within 20 mins in the near future.
