Required Skills/Experience:

• 1 year Stepdown, inpatient only.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Neuro and trauma experience preferred.

Special Requests:

• Blocked scheduling (no specific days) may be approved based on facility requirements.
• RTO of 5 days or less must be made up on the back end.
• Holiday RTO: can request only 1 per assignment.

Unit Details:

• Neuro stepdown unit caring for patients with neurological disorders, strokes, trauma, post-surgical patients, and medical comorbidities.
• Uses hard-wired monitoring, chest tubes, and subdural drains.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
• Every other weekend, as required by facility.
• No call.
• Night shift orients on day shift. Traveler must be available the entire week for orientation.

Floating Requirements:

• Could be floated within the service line: Cardiac Stepdown, Surgical Stepdown, Medical Stepdown.
