Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Must be comfortable with cardiac monitoring and cardiac drips.
Unit Details: Cardiac patients, post-pneumonia, post-cath lab, seizures, ETOH/CIWA protocols, and pacemakers. RNs titrate drips including cardizem, amio, nitro, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, and angiomax. Nurses are expected to troubleshoot respiratory equipment as appropriate. Nurses are expected to read and interpret telemetry, print strips, perform measurements, and identify rhythms.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. May be asked to participate in holiday rotation. No call.
Floating Requirements: Travelers can float to any inpatient unit and are first to float.
