In order to receive travel rate, clinician's claimed residence must match address on driver's license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.
Required Skills/Experience: Will accept a Med/Surg or Stepdown RN; same credentialing for both skills. Required Credentials: Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years in specialty; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, with only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, with only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding with a passing score of at least 80%; only 2 attempts permitted; updated every 3 years. Ascension Epic Test-Out required. Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every other holiday. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Floating Requirements: Traveler will be placed on a unit where the greatest need is, whether PCU or Med/Surg/Tele, based on the traveler's skills. Will need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
