You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Dedicated UR specialist experience. Strong Utilization Review (UR) background and hands-on experience with appeals, Code 44 reviews, and both inpatient and observation reviews. 1 - 3 years of directly related RN experience. Community hospital experience is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Required Credentials: Bachelor's degree and/or national certification in Utilization Review or Case Management. Completion of Utilization Review/Case Management course.

Unit Details: Neonate, infant, adult, and geriatric patient population. Staffing ratio: 20 on days, 40 on weekends.

Shift & Scheduling: Days; 4x10s or 5x8s. Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Float to other units and to sister hospital, Palomar Health Poway.
