An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Required Credentials: Associate Degree or Certificate
Unit Details: MAP unit serves medical and pediatrics; travelers do not take pediatric patients. Adult patient population includes respiratory illnesses, stroke, seizure disorders, multiple sclerosis, chronic back pain, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, other infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and every other holiday. No on-call requirements. Orientation week may have reduced scheduled hours. Scheduled hours may be reduced during holidays when the unit is closed.
Floating Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed. Unit Floats - ICU, MS/Tele, Intermediate Care.
