Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Experience with trauma surgical patients' population and abdominal transplant population (liver, renal, or BMT) in a teaching facility or high-volume facility.
- Solid ortho trauma and wound vac experience.
- Tele experience.
- Be familiar with drips such as insulin, heparin, etc.
- Must have recent experience at a Level One Trauma Facility.
- Skills: Telemetry, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Ortho trauma, Surgical drains, Wound Care/Wound Vac
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience with fracture care, post-surgical skills, traction, patient mobility.
- Experience with trachs is strongly preferred.
- Skills: BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Tracheostomy care/management, Transplant experience
Required Credentials:
- EKG Onboarding Exam, Math exam, Med/Pharmacology exam, Progressive Care Competency exam, Progressive Care skills, CORE exams.
Special Requests:
- If you want to take 4-7 days off, you must be willing to make up that time. You must fulfill the full 13 week contract.
- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
- Please note that should you receive an offer for this position, you will have 48 hours to accept/decline.
- Must be willing to fulfill a full 13 week contract.
- Any RTO should be provided at time of submission to be considered. Any time off sent after the offer will not be approved.
- Return Staff Policy: Gone for 6 months to return as traveler.
- We MUST know at time of submission if they have previously worked at this facility. This must be noted on the profile in order to check their eligibility for rehire.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Candidates should expect to work 2-3 of the 4 Summer Holidays (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, and Labor Day).
- Modules are billable, average 6.5 hours and not included in NBO hours.
Floating Requirements:
- Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals near by.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
