Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- 2 years recent ICU experience required, with ICU experience within the most recent year.
- Must have recent experience at a Level One Trauma Facility, including 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience in high acuity PCU.
- PCU, Med/Surg, and Tele experience required.
- Able to work with patients that may need rapid response.
- Caring for boarders from ED until a service line bed is available. Acute progressive patients.
- Skills Required: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Neurological/Psychiatric, CVA, (Cerebrovascular Accident), Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown
Special Requests:
- If you want to take 4-7 days off, you must be willing to make up that time.
- You must fulfill the full 13 week contract.
- Must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
- You will have 48 hours to accept or decline an offer.
- Any RTO should be provided at time of submission to be considered.
Shift & Scheduling:
- 36 or 48 hours/week contracts available.
- Every other weekend.
- Block schedule optional.
- Candidates should expect to work 2-3 of the 4 Summer Holidays (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, and Labor Day).
Floating Requirements:
- Will float to ICU or other PCU units.
- Will orient to other transitional units.
- Candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
