Preferred Skills/Experience:

• IV therapy, tube feeds, VAC dressings, compression wraps, port access, ostomies, chest tubes, S/P catheters, lab draws preferred.

Special Requests:

• Travel pairs are not accepted.

Unit Details:

• Case manage 20-25 patients with an expectation of 5-6 visits per day; may be used as a re-visitor if agency needs change during the contract.
• Assigned agency laptop, iPhone with case and chargers, mouse, nursing supply bin, nursing bag with vital signs equipment, and INR machine.
• Adult med surg, oncology, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, wound care, GI/GU patients.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend rotation with a day off during the week, or a permanent Tuesday-Saturday schedule with Sunday and Monday off, or a permanent Sunday-Thursday schedule with Friday and Saturday off, based on agency needs at time of contract.
• No overnight call. Call back required 2-4 times a month between the hours of 1700-2000. You will be told by 1700 on that day if an extra visit is needed. If by 1700 there is no visit scheduled, you do not stay on call.
